On the afternoon of March 18, 2016, the first Wuhan-style movie Treading on Thin Ice was released for the first time in Zhongnan Theater of Wuhan city and many Wuhan locals and drama amateurs came to watch this black comedy movie. It is co-produced by Wuhan broadcasting and TV station and Chian Sam Group. Lots of relevant organizations and individuals had attended the first release.
The movie Treading on Thin Ice is directed by Jia Yiping from Wuhan city and starred by Yuan Hong, Liu Yuxin and Liao Xiaoqin.
It was shot in Wuhan city and the Yellow Crane Tower, Yangtze River Bridge and East Lake could be found in the movie. The actors and actress were speaking Wuhan dialect in the movie.
Wuhan dialect is not the only comedy element of the movie. Wuhan people have played a very important role in the comedy. It is a very interesting and meaningful movie.
It is produced in Wuhan and it tells of a close space, a sum of unexpected money and an exciting story.
A deliveryman called Qiaoqiao was badly in need of one hundred thousand RMB, because his mother had urgent need for a medical operation. He had to follow a mysterious phone call and complete a task to make money for his mother.
Mr. Li Bing wrote this comedy and he thought that Wuhan is a place for producing good comedies and Wuhan citizens have great sense of humor. It’s a Wuhan style comedy movie.
